About this property
Three years of design and engineering went into this house before anyone lived in it. Six tonne boulders were craned in to frame the 45 m² pool, and the result reads as sculpture as much as residence.
The material list explains the time: Crema and Desert marble, Rustic Onyx, Ivory Stone, bronze glass blocks, hand stitched leather. Four bedrooms and a semi open living room arrange themselves around the pool terrace, with ocean views beyond and mid century modern lines holding it all together.
Bingin earned its standing slowly: a cove of warungs above one of Bali's best left hand waves, reached by staircase, now the most sought after pocket of the Bukit. The beach is five minutes from the gate.
Built by Yolla Bali, tenure is leasehold with 25 years. It suits a buyer collecting architecture first, with the location as the second argument.
